Text Messaging Terms and Conditions.

United Texas, LLC, provides special promotions via text message programs for United Supermarkets, Market Street, and Amigos.  We do not charge for sending text messages from the shortcode 43300, nor do we charge for receiving text messages at 43300.  Message and data rates may apply, depending on your service agreement with your wireless carrier.  You are responsible for any charges that you may incur with your wireless carrier when you communicate with us.  We will not be liable for delays you may experience in receiving text messages, as their delivery is subject to your carrier. 

By consenting to join a Mobile Alerts program, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information pursuant to the terms of our Privacy Policy.  Data obtained from you as part of this text messaging program may include your mobile phone number, the name of your wireless carrier, and the date, time, and content of the text messages you send us, as well as other information that you may provide to us as part of the program.  In addition, we will maintain a record of your mobile phone number, the date and time that you subscribed, and the date and time that you unsubscribed (if relevant).

Opting Into a Program

You can begin the subscription process from our website or by texting a specific program keyword to 43300 from your mobile phone.  Our text messages to your phone that follow and your responses to them from your phone are part of a double opt-in procedure.  It assures that we obtain your express consent to subscribe to the program and that the subscription can be completed only by response from the mobile phone whose number is being subscribed to the program.  The subscription process concludes on your mobile phone with a text message indicating that you have successfully joined the program.

By subscribing to the program, you give express consent to the following items:

  • You consent to receive commercial text messages at your mobile phone number via automated technology from United Texas;
  • You agree to these comprehensive Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy; and
  • You affirm either that you are at least 18 years old or that you are at least 13 years old and have parental consent to enroll.

Consent to receive messages is not a condition to make a purchase.  Once subscribed, you will receive up to 8 messages per month per program. 

Opting Out of the Program

You maintain full control of your participation in our text messaging programs.  You may choose to unsubscribe at any time without prior notification to us.  Reply STOP to any text message you receive, or simply text STOP to 43300.  We will send you one text message confirming that we have unsubscribed you.  After that, you will receive no further text messages from us.  If you decide to re-subscribe in the future, you must opt into the program again by giving us your express consent as described above.
